While cherry blossoms are more commonly associated with Japan, these gorgeous flowers held significance in China too. In Chinese tradition, cherry blossoms symbolise feminine power, mystique and beauty. "The cherry blossom signifies power in China, and according to the Chinese culture, it is also a symbol of feminine dominance. It indicates female beauty and sexuality. Its meaning in China according to the language of herbs is love. Therefore, it is often gifted as a symbol of life in this country." [1] Cherry blossoms have always been used to bring the energy of new beginnings, a sense of freshness and innocence, and the image of cherry blossoms is used as a love & marriage cure, as well as a feng shui cure for health.
